Artificial Eye

  Hello everybody I am Nikhil Deb Barman (38yrs Male). I am a private tutor and I teach children. My wife met me when I was one eyed and she accepted me the way I was and we got married. I have a daughter, she is 10years old. She has been seeing me one eyed since her birth. I had never used an artificial eye. My friends suggested me many a times to go for a customized artificial eye but I never paid attention nor did I feel it necessary to wear an artificial eye. But one day somehow my family and friends could convince me to go for it and I along with my childhood friend Ramen went to Artificial Eye Co. It took them 3 sittings, after the eye was made I was given to see myself in a mirror and I could not just believe, it was me, a new and different me. A feeling of euphoria came over me and I smiled. My wife and daughter were very happy and they insisted me to share my feeling here. Thank you Artificial Eye Co for the incredible work you are doing and I salute you.

Artificial Eye

  I am Barnali Sarkar (Female, 23 years) from Krishangang. I had some eye infection when I was 20 years, I underwent treatment from renowned Ophthalmologists of Krishangang, Kolkata, even I went to renowed hospitals like Disha, Shankar Netralaya but no one could save my eye and I was not ready to accept that my eye will never recover. My father who is a business typhoon felt helpless and I could see him grieving in pain and agony. Our happy family life got badly disturbed. My father did not leave any stone unturned. He took me to every place where he was suggested to take me but all in vain. We came to know about artificial eye and assumed it to be some artificial eye by which I could see. But when I enquired about such centre in West Bengal we came to know about Artificial Eye Co located in Howrah, Kolkata. So, I, my mom, dad went there after prior appointment and found other people sitting in the waiting area who had lost one eye. When our turn came we went and I was personally examined by the director of Artificial Eye Co Dr Sumitra. She was a young and dynamic personality. She explained generously about my eye condition which they call socket condition. She also explained me the process of making Artificial Eye. We also got ready to try it out and in 2 days time my Artificial Eye was ready and I was amazed to see myself in the looking glass. My look made me gaga over myself and I was overwhelmed with happiness and contentment. I laughed and exclaimed OH! Am I so preety, I forgot that I am beautiful after the mishap. My father and mother bursted into tears similarly as they did when I lost my eye. With time we started accepting my disfigurement but the day they saw me in my natural look the hidden pain bursted out and I hugged my dad with a relief that I could finally look complete with hidden defect of mine. Thanks not once but thousand times for making me what I was. Thank you so much for being there when I had none.

Asthma

  Hello friends I am Ammalendu Guha I live in Guma Habra. My house is in a village area and I suffered from asthma since my childhood days. I later on got admitted in BE College of Engineering but my asthma problem never resolved. I had great difficulty during the attacks. Once I visited my home town and met Dr Sumitra there who came as a visiting in 2008. Since then I am under her treatment and in last 8 9 yes I never had such severity or attack. Breast Prosthesis

  

Oh my God! It was a month ago, when I was worried about my breast cancer. Though it was my last stage, the situation was very complicated. Oh I forgot to introduce myself. I AkritiTiwari from Delhi.I live with my Mom and Dad. My husband and my inlaws left me because of my breast cancer.

It was a very bad moment for me when nobody was with me. When I came in contact with a doctor of Delhi, he told me that it’s very essential to cut the breast otherwise the cancer cells will spread into whole body.

But as a lady, I was not ready for this tough task. I had no choice so, I opted for the surgery. It was very difficult for me to face the world with a single breast. I lost all my hopes and immediately searched for possible alternatives. May be someone can help me. I asked all of my friends and relatives if there is some way out. But I failed.

At last I decided to take the help of web. So I searched over the web without wasting my time, and finally got a ray of hope. A “Breast Prosthesis Clinic”. Yes a well established clinic of Kolkata named Artificial Eye Co, owned by DrSumitraAgarwal.

She herself is a female doctor and provides breast prosthesis - which is an artificial breast form that can be worn after a women’s breast is surgically removed. And with the help of DrSumitra I got to know all about the breast prosthesis types, surgery, what to do immediately after surgery, replacement of silicone breast prosthesis and so on.

Color Blindness Test

  

It was one year ago when I was suffering from color blindness. I did not know that I am having color blindness. I came to know that I am suffering from this disease when I applied for Government job. I applied for the post in Group A. But I was rejected. I cleared the written examination but I was rejected in medical exam. They told me that I am suffering from color blindness. They get to know that with the help of Ishihara book. The book contains a circle of dots with a number written in it with a different color. But I was unable to see that numbers. I was shocked to know that I am suffering from color blindness. Till now, I had a belief that I was able to see all the colors but Ishihara book proved that I have color vision deficiency. 

After returning home, I told about it to my parents. They were also shocked to know that I am suffering from color blindness. They also became tensed like me. That day I searched for this term “Color Blindness” on Internet. I got lot of information about it from there. I was very much tensed while reading about it. I feared that I have to live all my life with color blindness. I was feared that it cannot be treated. Then I changed my topic of search. Now I started searching for “Color blindness treatment”. Then I came across a site “Artificial Eye Co”. I read there that they have treated many people suffering from the same disorder. From the site, I got the contact details of Dr.Sumitra. I called her and fixed the appointment day.

Dr. Sumitra explained me clearly how it can be treated. I agreed for the treatment. I am under her treatment and now I am able to differentiate between all the colors. I can read the Ishihara book easily. She also advised me for a checkup once every 6 months.
